As you might know, the world of trade has got its many pitfalls, due to the dynamics of the world economy. Oftentimes, big corporations and manufacturers move their production plants overseas, to countries such as China, India, or other South East Asian locations, among other places. The main benefit for them is that the workforce is significantly cheaper over there.
Consumerism can be seen as a truly unhealthy social trend. It’s essentially capitalism at its most extreme! As consumers, we are constantly bombarded with advertisements. We are pushed to believe that we can get “more for less” or that we can get deals after deals after deals.
One major topic that is currently storming in the debating table is our environment. In recent decades in the environments we are currently living is changing more rapidly than the 40 or 50 years ago. But these changes of environment are not bringing any good news for the inhabitants of this world.
